I have over 15  years of experience practicing yoga.  My first 7 years were full of practicing yoga while I was heavily involved in my alcoholism.  My life was a mess and Yoga was the only thing that made me feel better besides drinking and doing drugs.

Now that I have been sober for 11 years my yoga practice is much more meaningful and important to me; it truly has saved my life and I am forever grateful for the opportunity it has provided me to grow, to feel, and to love.

While I still love to take classes in yoga studios; my true love for yoga began when I started taking one-on-one sessions with my now yoga teacher.  We met weekly for one year and I learned more about myself in that year than all the years practicing combined.  It was a space where I felt connected, vulnerable, safe and completely liberated by the experience we created together; an experience I could not have gained in a class setting.

Each class was specifically designed for me; my planter fasciitis, my busy stressed-out mind, my sore lower back, my tight hips and my yearning to learn more about meditation and how just to live a more calm and present life.

I later used my amazing persuasive skills to “bully” her into providing a 200-hour teacher training where I then was able to dive way deeper into Yoga and all it has to offer.

My passion for yoga arrives in so many different layers but rather than learning about how I can lift my leg higher in a pose or become more flexible, my personal practice and the practice I love to share with others has a focus on self-development and living an authentic life full of truth, vulnerability, and keeping it real!!

I created Livingood Yoga to connect to my true passion; helping others and sharing what has helped me in hopes that I can offer some relief to others.  I turned my RV garage into a yoga studio and hold one-on-one sessions and group classes if requested.  I would LOVE to share this space with you!  Visit my PRIVATE SESSIONS page to book a session soon!
