Kids, Teens & Family Yoga in San Diego
Helping Kids, Teens & Families Slow Down, Tune In, and Build Trust—Within Themselves and With Each Other.
What if slowing down was something our children learned to love?
In a world that asks children to move faster, achieve, perform, and keep up, I believe they also need opportunities to simply be.
Kids yoga with Livingood Yoga is a playful, sensory experience where children can move, explore, rest, laugh, breathe, and connect with their bodies.
My hope is to give children tools for a lifetime — tools to notice what they feel, find moments of calm, and learn to trust themselves from the inside out.
And then they become teenagers.
Adolescence brings change, pressure, and the challenge of figuring out who you are. Teens deserve a place to slow down, too.
Teen yoga offers space to breathe, move, reconnect, and let go of the pressure to have it all figured out. Together, we explore tools for navigating stress, understanding what they need, and building trust in themselves.
A place to pause, listen inward, and simply be.
Yoga That Feels Like Play
Children and teens don't need another adult telling them to “calm down.” They need experiences that help them discover what calm feels like in their own bodies.
Our sessions are interactive, imaginative, and shaped around the unique child or teen in front of me. For younger children, yoga might look like playful movement, balancing, rolling, stretching, making sounds, creating, or exploring with props. For teens, it may be a quieter space to move, breathe, release stress, and reconnect with themselves—without pressure to perform or have it all figured out.
Whether through play or stillness, my goal is to help children and teens become more aware of what they are feeling, what their bodies need, and what helps them feel grounded and supported.
We use a variety of props and sensory tools to keep sessions engaging and curious, including:
Exercise balls, belly scooters, bolsters, blocks, blankets and other supportive props, rocks and natural objects, essential oils, sound healing instruments, breath and mindfulness games, and imaginative movement and play.
“When we teach children to slow down and listen within, we give them a lifelong gift: the ability to trust themselves.”
Supporting the Whole Child
My work with children and families is rooted in creating spaces where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves.
I work with children daily at the Waldorf School of San Diego through movement and reflex integration, and hold two master's degrees in Child and Family Development. Through playful movement, sensory exploration, breath, and rest, children are given space to slow down, connect, and build resilience.
Families I have worked with often share that their child feels safe, seen, and free to truly be themselves with me. Creating that kind of sanctuary for a child is at the heart of my work. I bring years of experience working one-on-one with children into each yoga session, creating a space where they can feel comfortable, connected, and supported just as they are.
Family Yoga
Family yoga extends that same sense of safety and connection to the whole family. Through movement, play, breath, and relaxation, families can slow down together, practice co-regulation, and discover simple ways to feel more connected and grounded.
A Space to Connect
Whether I am working one-on-one with a child or teen, or alongside an entire family, my hope is to create a space where everyone feels safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and be themselves.
There is no pressure to perform or do things perfectly. There is simply room to move, play, explore, breathe, rest, and connect—with ourselves and with one another.
For a child or teen, that may mean feeling seen, supported, and more at home in their own body. For a family, it may mean learning to listen to one another, regulate together, and reconnect in meaningful ways.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when we create space to slow down and listen, we create space for connection, resilience, and trust to grow.

"I scheduled Tiffany to help my two sons (ages 5 & 7) slow down and stretch. Tiffany did a one on one practice with each boy concentrating on helping them stretch, calm their bodies and minds, and focus on the present moment.
Both of my boys really liked working with Tiffany and asked to go back. We now see Tiffany regularly on a weekly basis. Tiffany was so great to leave me an audio recording of how each boy did in their practice and some at home activities I could do with each of them in between their sessions with her. I highly recommend Tiffany to any mommy out there craving some calm and stretchy time for their children. Thank you Tiffany!!
I can’t say enough good things about Tiffany. Her studio is beautifully set up to create a peaceful, grounding atmosphere. She has everything you might need, from yoga props to a cup of tea and a listening ear.
She works so well with my kids (10 and 12 years old) engaging them in a way that is both thoughtful and fun, and always tailoring each session to meet their individual needs. Her kindness, knowledge, and gentle presence make every class feel like a true reset. I leave feeling calm, happy, grounded, and genuinely cared for. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking private instruction, whether for yourself or your kids.
Remember that who you are, exactly as you are, is enough.

For three years, I unlearned the grind.
I softened.
I listened.
And most of all, I came back to life.
Now, I’m here to offer you the same steady presence I once longed for—
A space where you can exhale, unravel, and remember that who you are, exactly as you are, is enough.
